Programs & Events |
The Orinda Association offers a variety of
community-based programs and events, some of which have
been a tradition in Orinda since 1982. You can sign up
to volunteer, help with a sponsorship, or benefit from
the programs directly, as with our Seniors Around Town
program.

Annual July 4th Parade & Celebration
Floats, live music, marching bands, skits,
clowns, animals, tots to octogenarians all
participate in the parade, preceded and followed
by special events like a fun run, pancake
breakfast, food, game & information booths in
the park, as well as live music. Join the fun.

Volunteer of the Year
An annual celebration honoring the citizen or
group which has displayed outstanding
contributions through volunteer efforts that
benefit the community and environment. For more

Seniors Around Town
A door-to-door, on-demand transportation program
for Orinda Seniors. Rides are provided at no
cost Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. For more information

Soccer for All
A youth soccer uniform and equipment donation
program. Whole team sets are assembled from
donations and delivered to children all over the

Donation Collection
A convenient drop off of gently used clothing
and household items for Hospice of Contra Costa,
and eye glass donations for the Lions Club. |

Disaster Preparedness
Disaster Kits for your car and your home as well
as information about safety tips are available
for sale through the OA. Click

you how to best prepare your home and family in
