Volunteer of the Year and Wm. Penn Mott Jr. Environmental Awards Dinner


This is annual celebration honors the citizen or group which has displayed outstanding contributions through volunteer efforts that benefit the community and the citizen or group which has displayed outstanding contributions in the area of education and/or preservation of our environment.

The dinner is held the last Sunday in January to honor the winners of these two awards. In addition to recognition and appreciation, prize money is also awarded to the Mott recipient to pass on to the non-profit of their choice.

Nominations are welcome from individuals or groups. Click here for a nomination form. Then send in your nomination via post, e-mail or fax. The Orinda Association Board of Directors makes the final selection based on the recommendations of the nominees. The winners then join a long list of outstanding citizens who have helped to form and preserve our wonderful community.
