Orinda Classic Car Show T-Shirt Design Contest Rules And Guidelines
Design Guidelines
Must include the words “Orinda Classic Car Show”
Must include the year “2024”
Must include the depiction of at least one car considered a Shelby Cobra. (See samples below.)
Format must be high-resolution digital vector file: .ai, .pdf, .psd
It should be sized for 12” x 12“, 300 dpi and CMYK colors
It will be printed on a black t-shirt (or any other color selected by committee).
Your design must be wholly original artwork and can not contain copyrighted material.
Eligibility/Entry
There is no entry fee to submit a design. Only one design submission per contestant. If you are under the age of 18, you may create a design but it must be submitted on your behalf by a parent or guardian.
Entrant must a student attending school in Lafayette, Moraga or Orinda and be enrolled in grades 8th through 12th.

The featured vehicles at the 2024 Orinda Classic Car Show are the Shelby Cobras . In the east bay area we are very fortunate to have access to the Cobra Experience Museum in Martinez. Purpose of the T-shirts
The winning design will be printed on high quality t-shirts. The t-shirts will be sold to the general public before and at the Orinda Classic Car Show on September 7, 2024.
Important Dates
Submit your design (1 per contestant) by the deadline of May 3, 2024.
Entries will be judged by two Orinda Association Board Members and the Chair of the T-shirt Design Contest.
Announcement of contest winners will be on May 12th, 2024. Winner will be contact by phone or email using the information provided on your entry form.
Prizes
Winning design will be awarded:
$100 cash
acknowledgment of the award in The Orinda News, on the Orinda Classic Car Show and The Orinda Association websites.
design will be placed on the Official Orinda Classic Car Show T-shirt for 2024
Honorable mentions:
one in each grade will be acknowledged on The Orinda Association website.
Fine Print
Judging:
Designs will be judged by a panel of 3 judges which include board members and representatives of The Orinda Association. The entry will be judged on the following criteria:
Originality
Visibility - is it eye catching and visible from a distance
Does it coincide with the mission of the Orinda Classic Car Show and the theme celebrating Cobras
Feasibility - must be easy to reproduce on a black (or dark) T-Shirt.
